Aaranya brings the grandeur of a Kanchipuram korvai to an easy-to-wear soft silk. The Mustard Yellow body features fine vaira oosi (diamond-needle) zari lines running the length of the body, set with large floral butas in antique zari. A wide contrast korvai border in Coffee Brown, the same shade as the pallu – with body and border interlocked in the classic korvai style – is woven with scalloped blossom-tree medallions with teardrop drops, framed by herringbone and floral zari bands. The Coffee Brown pallu is rich with a diamond-check lattice with a small flower in every square, woven in antique zari.
