Return Policy

Return & Exchange Policy

At Adharsh Silks, every saree is carefully inspected and packed before dispatch. We accept returns only for products that arrive damaged or defective. We do not accept returns or exchanges for reasons such as change of mind, colour perception differences due to screen settings, or dislike of the product.

1. Eligibility for Return

A return request is accepted only if all of the following conditions are met:

  1. The product received is damaged or defective (e.g., torn fabric, weaving defect, stains, or transit damage).
  2. A complete, uncut unboxing video is provided (see Section 2).
  3. The return request is raised within 48 hours of delivery.
  4. The product is unused, unwashed, unaltered, and has all original tags, packaging, and invoice intact.

2. Mandatory Unboxing Video

An unboxing video is mandatory for all return claims. Without it, no return, exchange, or refund claim will be accepted under any circumstances.

The video must:

  • Start before the sealed parcel is opened, clearly showing the intact outer packaging and shipping label.
  • Be a single continuous recording without cuts, pauses, or edits, from opening the parcel to displaying the damage on the product.
  • Clearly show the damaged or defective portion of the saree.

We recommend recording an unboxing video for every order you receive from us.

3. How to Raise a Return Request

  1. Within 48 hours of delivery, contact us via WhatsApp or email with your order number, photos of the damage, and the unboxing video.
  2. Our team will review your claim within 2 business days.
  3. If approved, we will arrange a free reverse pickup from your address. You do not pay any return shipping charges for approved damaged-product claims.
  4. Please pack the product securely in its original packaging with all tags and the invoice.

4. Resolution: Exchange or Refund

Once the returned product reaches us and passes quality inspection (within 2–3 business days of receipt):

  • Exchange (preferred): We will ship a replacement of the same product free of cost. If the same product is unavailable, you may choose any other product of equal value, or pay/receive the difference for a product of different value.
  • Refund: If a suitable replacement is not available or you prefer a refund, the full amount paid (including original shipping charges, if any) will be refunded to your original payment method within 5–7 business days of inspection approval. For Cash on Delivery orders, refunds are made via bank transfer/UPI to the account details you provide.

5. Items Not Eligible for Return

  • Products without a valid, unedited unboxing video.
  • Requests raised after 48 hours of delivery.
  • Products that have been worn, washed, altered, or have fall/pico/blouse stitching done.
  • Minor irregularities in weave, zari, or colour that are natural characteristics of handloom products and not defects.
  • Colour variation due to photography lighting or screen display settings.

6. Order Cancellation

Orders can be cancelled free of charge before dispatch. Once shipped, an order cannot be cancelled; the damaged-product return policy above will apply if applicable.
