It is finished with a traditional rettapet (retta pettu) border – two zari borders woven with leaf-buta and floral bands, with a plain Wine silk-finish band running between them, and a Wine edge. The pallu is rich tissue woven with large Wine floral and paisley motifs over copper-gold zari. The rettapet (retta pettu) double border gives it a timeless South Indian bridal look.
